Physical Therapy Assistant

Massage Therapist

Licensed Massage Therapist Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a massage therapist (specializing in both sports and medical massage)
  • Must be licensed in the state of NJ

Licensed Massage Therapist Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for a long period of time
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Experience working in a therapy center environment
  • Must be caring, professional and passionate
  • Must be reliable and a team player
  • Spanish bi-lingual is a plus but not required

Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a front desk receptionist with prior experience in the medical field. An ideal candidate will have a pleasant personality and a great team player.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Maintaining records
  • Answering heavy volume phones

Medical Office Receptionist Job Duties:

  • Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting, in person or on the telephone
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Schedules/reschedules patient appointments; reminding of service delays.
  • Answers patients’ questions
  • Maintains the reception area clean and organized
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Medical Office Receptionist Skills and Qualifications:

Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Professionalism, Quality Focus

REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of continuous experience in the medical field as a front desk
  • Computer skills (iOS/Apple)
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Organized and professional
  • Exceptional multi-tasker
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus but not required
  • Students are not encouraged to apply as this job has set hours throughout a day.

Job Type: Full-time position, must be available from 7:30am to 9:00pm and on Saturdays from 8:30am to 5pm.

Acupuncturist

We are looking for a part time/per diem Licensed Acupuncturist to work alongside our senior acupuncturist. The candidate should be eager to be a part of a busy and successful practice. The work environment is tranquil and pleasant with great staff and long-standing patients.

Licensed Acupuncturist Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an Acupuncture setting
  • Familiarity in acupuncture, chiropractic, medical massage, and physical therapy
  • 2+ years of experience with either a large private practice

Licensed Acupuncturist Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage patients in the treatment rooms cycling through acupuncture/chiropractic/medical massage/physical therapy.
  • Good examination skills and ability to communicate a clear and concise diagnosis
  • Punctuality with completing treatments on time so they can move onto other portions of their appointments without delay
  • Show empathy towards patients by listening to the patient and address any concerns or issues they may have with the treatment approach

Licensed Acupuncturist Responsibilities:

  • Integration with other disciplines within Rapha Wellness Center to deliver a comprehensive coordinated approach to care
  • Formulation of a plan of care for treatment and ability to communicate with the patient the course of treatment moving forward
  • Ability to treat with local acupuncture (for acute, localized injuries)
  • Knowledge of utilizing cupping, laser acupuncture
  • Trigger point acupuncture needling
  • Identify precise locations on a patient’s body where needles should be inserted, or where electrical or heat stimulation is to be applied
  • Explain the Western style of acupuncture procedures to patients and prepare them for treatment

Job Types: Part-time, Per-Diem
